PDR Finesse Tools, Inc. was founded in 2007 by Ike Rhoades in Ava, MO. After a long and successful career as an autobody technician and body shop manager, Ike’s retirement plan and dream was to develop the strongest and highest quality paintless dent repair tools in the industry, and involve his family to create a lasting legacy. After building his first tools, including the Ultimate Door Tool (#36), he traveled the United States putting the tools into the hands of technicians. Throughout the years, Ike and PDR Finesse became a pillar in the PDR community by providing friendly service and building handmade tools of the highest quality and strength. Under Ike’s leadership, the PDR Finesse family pioneered the adjustable handle tools, and revolutionized the sharp tool movement.

Ike’s legacy continues through his daughter Bonnee and her husband Tim Stafford, his long-time tool builder. Today, the tools are still handmade start to finish by skilled craftsmen using the same high-quality stainless steel and unique tempering techniques that Ike developed. Custom tools built by Tim and the crew at PDR Finesse are designed and developed from ideas brought to us by actual technicians who use them every day.
